Gheychi Premium is not a company. It is a working product maintained by its author, which is worth knowing before you rely on it.
The name
Gheychi — قیچی — is Persian for scissors. The tool cuts a piece of media out of the web and hands it to you. That is the whole idea, and the reason the mark is a pair of shears rather than a download arrow.
What it is
A Telegram bot with a web front for plans and history. It began as a way to avoid ad-choked downloader sites and grew the one capability those sites cannot offer at all: retrieving media from Telegram channels that have saving switched off.
The bot speaks English and Persian. The website is English only.
How it is run
Single operator, single server. There is no support team and no rota — messages are answered by the person who wrote the code, usually within a day. Plans are currently activated by hand for the same reason.
That has an upside and a downside, and you should weigh both: nothing is outsourced and nothing is automated badly, but there is no one else covering the hours when they are asleep.
What is not claimed
There are no user counts, uptime figures, testimonials or awards anywhere on this site, because none exist. If a number appears here later it will be one that can be checked.
Responsible use
The bot retrieves what your own Telegram account could already see, and public media from the open web. It does not break encryption and it does not bypass a paywall. What you do with a file you retrieve is your responsibility — see the terms.
